Happy 2008 to everyone! I taught the first class of the New Year at Bead In Hand tonight. We had 7 very smart and talented people in class learning the Bead Ring and the Spiral Earring project.  Everyone was very brave coming out tonight with the Hanna Montana concert creating traffic problems and the weather didn't co operate either we had just enough snow to make driving tricky. Everyone's projects came out great and I'm sure they will have a lot fun creating all the variations of the Ring and Earrings that I showed them in class tonight. This is a great set to match or accent any bracelet and/or necklace that you design. You can use the beads from the necklace and/or bracelet for your ring and earrings set. The earrings and ring make a great gift to.

Hi Everyone well the weather here in the mid-west this winter has really been challenging.  The weather was so bad on the 11th that the class at Bead In Hand was canceled, the students just couldn't get there. My daughter and I had the strain of  flu that's all over the news and oh my! were we sick. Hopefully we'll be able to get to my son's in Florida for a few days, we desperately need the sunshine and the grandkids are really looking forward to seeing us. In spite of all that I've been working on the Tutorials and they are coming along just great. My 14 year old granddaughter Valentina help me edit the basic instructions I will have on my Tutorial page, and wow did she do a great job! I'm hoping to have some free stuff up within the next couple of weeks if all goes well and I can stay healthy.

Hi everyone, the weather is finally breaking whew.......  The class at Bead in Hand on Monday March 10th went great. Now that the weather is getting better and it's staying light longer (thanks to DST) we are all able to get around much better. Doris was in from California it was great seeing her. We worked on the Helen's Hoop earring project on Monday. There is a lot to learn with that project,  the class did well. The techniques learned to make that earring are great because they can be applied to other projects.
Good News! I have the first page, with all  the free Tutorals done. I'm working on the 2nd page now, the second page will contain the paid Tutorials. At this point I will only have a few paid Tutorials posted but as soon as the format is established I will be putting a lot more on.  I won't be up loading anything until everything is done, so you will not be able to view it just yet.
Below is a picture of the class, starting from the lower left and working around to the right we have, Eva, Eleanor, Ronnie, Cherryl and Norma. They all did a great job!..............................

As you can see it's been a very long time since I entered a posting on this Blog. A lot has happened and a lot has changed, even the font on my Blog. (smiles) I had a technical problem with delivering the Tutorials on this Website. So a combination of family living out of town, WOW what an adjustment, I'm sure many of you know about that and with the technical problem I haven't done much with my Website for a while. For the last 6 months or so I was selling my Tutorials on Jewelry Lesson, it was a great experience, I met a lot of super great people. Because of recent events I decided to take my Tutorials off Jewelry Lessons for a while anyway. So....at this time I have all my Tutorials off Jewelery Lesson and I'm selling them here on my Website. I'm still teaching at Bead In Hand, the classes are going great there so check the Workshop page for that schedule. So now it's summer again and my beautiful granddaughter Valentina has been spend the summer with us, we so love having her. The rest of the family will be arriving soon.......whew.............So I've been trying my best to get as much done as possible, it's been a very busy time. Keep checking the Website. I have a lot of interesting stuff coming in the very near future, including new Tutorials and maybe even some more Free ones and an interesting article posted in the Hug Ring Diary Tab. When that article is posted I'm hoping all of you Wire Artists will read it and think twice about the important role that each of us plays in preserving the integrity of our Art.  It's finally a beautiful summer day here in Chicagoland so we're going to take in some of the sunshine before it goes away again.  Until the next post which I'm sure won't be a year away.........................(very big smiles)
